Rating methodology
How is the developer rating compiled?
A developer's place is determined by its number of deals: how many apartments have been sold across all of its projects in the state register of shared-equity construction (homeportal.kz) as of the update date. We take a snapshot of the register every day and sum up sales across all of the brand's residential complexes and legal entities. As in Domclick's deal rating, only the count matters — no ratings, reviews or advertising.
What period are sales counted for?
За всё время: учитываются все проданные квартиры в объектах застройщика, которые есть в реестре на дату обновления, — с начала продаж каждого объекта. Колонка «Изменение за месяц» показывает, как сдвинулось место по сравнению с концом прошлого месяца; «Новый» — застройщик впервые попал в рейтинг. Продажи по месяцам — в дайджестах новостроек.
How often is the rating updated?
Once a month, after the month closes — together with the Kazakhstan new-build digest.
Are returns and cancellations taken into account?
Yes: the rating takes the number of sold apartments from the register as of the update date, so cancelled contracts that the developer has put back on sale are no longer counted.
Does a high place mean the developer is reliable?
No. The rating shows the scale of sales, not reliability. Facts for assessment — completion dates, protection schemes, the list of unscrupulous developers — are on each developer's page. The BVU, KHC and MIO equity holder protection schemes are equally valid and do not affect the place.
What if the data is wrong?
The source is the state register: sales data is entered by the developers themselves and by authorized organizations, and corrections are made there too. If you are a developer and see a discrepancy, write to us via the 'For developers' page — we will check the snapshot and recalculate.
Can the rating results be published?
Yes, with an active link to salemdom.kz. The rating is for information purposes only and is not a recommendation.
